Global Iboga Therapy Alliance

Global Iboga Therapy Alliance (GITA) is a nonprofit organization active since 2009 that supports the therapeutic and sacramental use of iboga and its alkaloids. It focuses on sustainability of the plant, scientific research, education, clinical guidelines, and patient advocacy for safer access. GITA maintains an international network of providers and has published resources such as Clinical Guidelines for Ibogaine-Assisted Detoxification.
