MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies)

MAPS is one of the longest-running psychedelic research and policy nonprofits in the world, founded in 1986. MAPS maintains a dedicated ibogaine research and education page and publicly commented on the April 2026 federal Executive Order accelerating research and investment into psychedelic compounds including ibogaine. MAPS has driven decades of policy work supporting the clinical research pathway for psychedelic medicines in the United States and internationally. MAPS is a research and policy organization; it does not provide or administer ibogaine treatment.
