Dr. Fernando Rivas is a board-certified emergency physician and Chief Medical Officer at Transcend Clinic. He has spent more than 15 years in emergency medicine, including a decade as medical director of a leading private hospital in Cancún. Alongside that hospital work, he has helped build treatment protocols in addiction medicine and in the clinical use of psychedelics, including psilocybin and ibogaine. He also taught emergency medicine for more than eight years at Cancún’s largest public hospital.

Dr. Carlos Salcido is a clinical cardiologist with more than eight years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. He trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the ABC Medical Center. His expertise includes systemic arterial hypertension, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, angina pectoris, heart failure, and valvular disease. He places particular emphasis on continuous cardiac monitoring and thorough preoperative assessment, both of which are critical for the safe administration of ibogaine. Dr. Salcido is certified by the Mexican Council of Cardiology and is an active member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and the Mexican Society of Cardiology (SMC). At Transcend Ibogaine, he is responsible for the rigorous cardiovascular evaluation of every patient before, during, and after treatment. Given ibogaine’s well-documented effects on cardiac conduction, having a cardiologist on staff is not optional. It is essential.

Dr. Moisés Campos Navarro is an emergency medicine specialist on Transcend Clinic’s medical team in Cancún, Mexico. His professional background includes leading organ and tissue donation coordination at IMSS Hospital General Regional No. 17. He has also co-authored research on organ donation and contributed to Mexican clinical practice guidelines.

Dr. Ana Elizabeth Santana Rodríguez is an emergency medicine specialist on Transcend Clinic’s medical team in Cancún, Mexico. Her professional background includes hospital leadership, having served as director of IMSS Hospital General de Zona No. 18 in Playa del Carmen.

Dr. Emilio Montemayor is a member of Transcend’s medical team and a psychiatrist certified by the Mexican Board of Psychiatry. He trained at Mexico’s National Institute of Psychiatry “Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz,” with additional specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry. His practice includes psychiatric assessment and individualized care for emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental conditions.

The Ibogaine treatment it self is a 5 star treatment. I give the 1 star to not the staff, but the operation of transcendent. The staff does everything that they can, but no one on site is in charge.
