9 days after flood and still feeling down and out. Any ideas?
Tired! Nice to hear from you again! Look, if you flooded with 2.5 grams of HCL... Take it easy on yourself, that's a hefty dose. It will likely take awhile to get that energy back.. Just give it time and trust the bark. What I did after my flood, was listen to my body. When I wanted salty foods, I ate salty foods, and stuff like that, eating mostly healthy, but what I felt my body needed - and when I felt I needed more energy, I started slow and small. Nice walks around outside, especially in pretty nature areas were wonderful. Eventually nice, light workouts at the gym. I'm sure yoga would be amazing also. Things like that. Eating healthy, resting as you feel you should, and starting with light exercise should all put you on the way to getting that energy level back. Remember, 2.5 grams HCL is a pretty big dose, so it sounds like you're probably right on track. Keep us posted! <3
Hi, I was calculating, if you are 80kg then you did 30mg per kg. You dont say how big you are, but this is a huge dose... So relax, and you will be fine. Drink water and take electrolytes, or salt in lack of trace minerals, you want water to stay in the system. If you know how to fast, you can do that, fasting gives energy, if interested I can guide you...
I should have mentioned, I weigh 225lbs and am 6'1 Thanks for the replies guys, I laid around the entire day listing to music and just pondering the world. As usual I feel better at night than I do in the morning and tonight is no exception.
I should also say that I'm back to work today after 10 days off and i do feel better today than i did Sunday and Saturday. My lower back aches a bit but that's probably From laying/sitting for 10 days straight. Mentally i feel empowered though.
Iboga drains you literally. I think it's normal that you need some time to fully recover. With a large dose, a bit of patience may be needed but the reward will be even greater eventually.
Hi, Sometimes it can take a while, you may get urges for months. You may get the a touch of the withdrawals and maybe cravings an that anxious feeling. Root bark can do a lot if you have been considering it. Best, cinderpath
I thought a high dose of Iboga-flood actually takes away the tiredness, lethargy etc?...It's not suprizing as many Folks complain of similar symptoms when they use Iboga-Ibogaine to detox from Suboxone-Subutex! The Symptoms being described are usually there a week or 2 later when one detox's from sub without Iboga-Ibogaine, this makes me wonder if Iboga really makes any big difference for sub-users, considering sub withdrawals aren't extreme as short-acting-opiate withdrawals, more or or less long drawn out mild withdrawals, hence of why Iboga-Ibogaine works better for SAOs. Still the more information the better folks can be prepared!
Digital gave some great advice. It's been my experience that energy levels in a situation like yours will return gradually over 3-6 weeks. Go easy on yourself as far as expectations. Ibogaine is like climbing a mountain after a breakup. It's exhausting on every level. Take naps, listen to your body. Congrats to you, Tired.
Thanks for the great advice everyone. I have to say that since Sunday I have felt one hundred times better. Kind of seemed like I got over some sort of hump or something because since Sunday, each day has been a little bit better. The advice about listening to your body and not trying to force anything really hit the spot. I went to a diner and got a huge breakfast because I was craving an omelette, I listed to positive up beat music, and just not trying to be superman all of the sudden.
