Anal administration?
Hey roxine_writes.. I just got off work and need to get to bed. I always check the forums here before I goto bed though, so I just wanted to let you know that Iboga enemas are not that uncommon. It's a preferred method of administration by many people for the exact reason you mentioned - less chance of throwing up, and you certainly won't puke up the medicine. I have the day off tomorrow and I'll try to find some links for you then. <3
I could not find any reference on the net. The provider I mentioned uses just saliva and pushes in... I did it once, just the test dose, and put a 3 mil water in syringe, but then, worried it will get lost, and gave to my friend by the mouth the flood. Yet the vomiting, or reflex, since he was fasting that day, was quite strong... lets see what Digital Freedom can find... roxine_writes
Interesting...but it seems someone would have thought about & tired this long ago in hopes of bypassing the vomiting! Still, to some the purging is an integral part of the experience. I'll be watching this thread & hope someone finds more info.
BE WARY of anal administration of any drug, ESPECIALLY IBOGAINE...The anal cavity is a mucous membrane, much like (ironically) your mouth, or nose...sub-lingual dosing of meds (under the tongue) utilizes the same mechanisms - so does insufflation (snorting) The thing is - you bypass digestion, there is no TIME to slowly absorb things and this could and probably would result in all the effects of whatever dose being felt IMMEDIATELY...so if someone has a dose in mind, and does not have the right information about administration, an overdose could occur. This is probably why IW said so little about it. I can only guess at their reasons though. While I am on this this, there are going to be some 'revisions' here in short order - I am currently trying to sort out some ideas, but I want to back off of suggesting specific doses and such - I'll save this all for another thread, but we all need to be extra careful with this kind of information from now on. More later on that... Thanks for the thread Jox, I hope people discuss and research something like this THOROUGHLY before making any half-assed attempts (no pun) Ibogaine can be very dangerous, deadly even - and I do not want anyone to come to any harm, especially from something they saw on these boards.
IWorld told me that it will provoke diarrhea and will shorten the visual phase. Not sure what to think. I will test it on myself when I have extra grams to spare... So far it will go by mouth... roxine_writes
if you dont go over 20mg/kg, avoid any other drug interactions, are not suffering from heart problems then it should be a safe alternative to puking out 500€ worth of medicine mixing it with a little bit of fresh Camilla tea, and syringe it up your. Be absolutely hygienic or suffer a literally shitty experience careful of the fast onset do not shove ibogaine up your behind while driving!

Im glad I found this topic since I cant afford $ to puke it up any more. I had made this post just asking a simple question and thus useing the search function I am hear about 2 yeas later to BUMP this thread and get any updated info. I personally am seeking this rout do to like I said, tired of pukeing up money. Yea I know dont do drugs, Just being sarcastic cause im bringing a 2 year old thread back for any safety updates or just any bodys iboga/anal flood level experiance and was infact administered a lower/less dose or was it a couple grams an hour? thats what im thinking, small amounts of iboga rapidly being absorbed and dose set aside and administered as needed. You'll need less, I propose. Do it gradually like cut it into portions. First do some clearance enemas with just lukewarm water and sea salt. Then go for your medi, but try and space out 30 minutes a part into sequential order. It could very well be extremely dangerous if the full dose is taken this route all at once. It's far more receptive down there.
This is about the best and most straightforward answer you can ask for man. It can be done, and has been done but the only times I have ever known about were with experienced providers and they were pretty much 'forced' to use this method becuase the people they were trying to detox could not keep anything down long enough to absorb. If one's aim is just to kind of dance around the nausea or ataxia, it will not avail you to do it this way - route of administration will not necessarily deter any 'side effects'...nausea and vomiting just happen, especially during a detox. I think it is in fact much better to purge than not to, again this is a detox I am talking about. Psychospiritual not so much. Not everyone pukes. But everyone will certainly experience ataxia if they take a flood dose of the Medicine. I think it is far too tricky and potentially dangerous, the margin for error is much smaller with rectal administration, you'd better know what you are doing or have someone there who does. I understand it can get real expensive real quick puking up half grams of ibogaine, if this is the case and - for whatever reasons - ibogaine is really just that hard on someone's stomach, then I suppose it is an option. The very few times I've heard of this being done, the flood was already underway - or trying to be underway - and the poor 'patient' was so dopesick they could not keep the medicine down so there really was no other choice. I would personally hold it in reserve for only this type of scenario and not just try it as a novelty or for the sake of avoiding a purge, because if you're gonna purge you likely will anyway if you get the requisite flood dose in you within the four hour window. This is so ironic at this tme that I am seeking answers on this method and rite this second im watching this 2 hour History channel 2 program called the stoned ages. Its funny because Breaking Bads charachter Hank Schrader is walking around and told stories of how they took drugs starting back in the Myans days and start off with how they took tobacco enemas to get high and showed paintings with orgy looking scene with the bodies all intertwined and you can see them holding the enema in between some ones legs. He said If we did one we would feel whatever< I cant believe this This does shed some light on my question. The guy does say that it was a powerful way to administer drugs to the body cause its absorbed so quickly and concures with what people have posted. I may just take this rout or maybe a half and half starting with the enema method first and see how it goes and how I feel and than see If I can hold some RB down orally but if not ill take it slow till I know where I feel comfortable and the Bee hives are in my ears. I've been working with Nicotiana Rustica a lot. Grew it up the yin yang 2 years ago and for 2 years previous. Finally started utilizing this fine sacrament. Been doing the Tobacco tea (Singado) through the nose to great effect. Rape' (pronounced Hapee) snuff, Nu Nu snuff, Tsune Snuff. This plant sacrament is so amazing once you develop a relationship with it, absolutely amazing akin to Iboga or somewhat close. Starting small and building up with this powerful totem one can really start to grow a great relationship with what most call "him". So now I am considering the enema form in small dosages. Did I mention I love enemas, such a great entheogen when using detox herbs. Not much is more medicinal or detoxing than Nicotiana. I will say however DANGER DANGER DANGER highly deadly, don't do it peeps. All the Nicotiana spirits so beautiful. Can find a wide spectrum of seeds of them kept well in tact from a company called "Sacred Succulents".
