Avoided a mistake

Hi folks, I just wanted to say thanks for imparting all of your wisdom to the uneducated. I think you saved me from a huge mistake. About six weeks ago, I would have " flooded " right then and there. I was sick of where I was and wanted an "out". A silver bullet so to speak.   What I came to learn here, was at that time, with my state of mind, it was probably that EXACT wrong time to journey with Iboga. You taught me that it takes preparation. Mental and physical. I learned that to get the most out of the medicine, I should go into my experience as strong as I can be, not in desparation for a better mental state.   I'll tell you what I did. I did a paltry amount of research via the net. Called several places, none of which could take me for several months. IMO, God at work. It wasn't yet my time. Shortly after, I found this place and started my education.   So thanks to all that participate here. When the time is right, my Iboga experience will much richer. Take care. Rick.

Good for you RickyD!  I agree, it takes much research, intention and a will to change certain things.  I wouldn't recommend anyone going into it blindly, especially a DIY approach, but even going to a provider I believe on should research as much as possible before hand.  I  have met plenty of folks who are " I want to try it,  I shouldn't have to do any research, I have you"  Of course I refuse.  If someone isn't ready to take time out to research, they probably shouldn't even consider doing it, IMO.  Also thank you for the kind words, I am sure they mean a lot to us here, they mean a lot to me for sure.  This is like a little family we have here, and I love everyone here, even if we don't always agree on everything... Keep asking questions, researching ... you will know when you are ready. roxine
