Definition of a flood
Hi iboga people,
I will define full flood as:
1. the pulse goes down for 1/3. ex: if you had 86 x min, in full flood it will be 56 x min.
2. the muscles don't work: you are laying on your bed and can't lift a finger, let alone get up...
THIS IS FUNDAMENTAL imho because this way the EMOTIONS are cut off, or in other words you can't have a bad trip, no matter what hells and demos you are looking at.
This way your brain gets full detox, WITHOUT stress of bed trip, that I think produces PTSD.
I would say:
1. do full flood as described above (your provider will give you the math, it can vary, since the alkaloids loose strength over time)
2. do microdosing, so you don't trip...
what does the iboga population thinks?

i value the visionary part of the experience. for me,unwillingness to look at our"shit" is part of the same problem that lead us to being on opiates to start with. "bad trip" is not part of my lexicon when it comes to this kind of thing. bring that shit into the light, and there is no where for it to hide. the only way out is through.

I could not imagine my ibogaine experience being as moving to me if I didn't 'trip.' I am sure for some, stacking, microdosing, or 18-MC is a better choice, but for any able minded adult looking for healing...the trip is a vital part of the experience.
