Flood time is near!
I am really sorry to hear that missjess.. I don't think that is the right attitude to be going into with a flood dose though, what if something were to happen and what if it happened because you had put that intention into it. I don't think it is fair to your sitter, your family, to yourself or to the people on this forum. I hope you are safe and put some healing intention behind this flood and not suicide intention.
Right on lala! Jess, everyone has been there to an extent. I know I have. What was your first flood for? How did you feel after your first flood? What are your adjuncts to flooding now? i.e. therapy?/family or friends support?/exercise?/modest goals? This forum is a start. Things will get better. Bad brain chemistry is a nasty thing, and can cloud our minds completely to where we start thinking like this. Iboga can re-wire you!! It can teach you. Death is guaranteed for us all at some point. Iboga just may remind you how precious our time in this life is. Iboga tends to dive right into the brain like a diagnostic tool first, and then goes to work on you as you need it. Start thinking about how many people have been transformed because of this sacrament. Be thankful that you have the opportunity to take advantage of such a special event. I believe if you flood properly, you will gain great wisdom on this flood, a tangible inner peace, and have a very fresh perspective. Bless you for recognizing you need help, and for taking this hopefully calculated risk. Continue to reach out to people here.
In that case this forum (or at least one representative) will have to advise you not take Iboga. As lala so wisely implied, it could prove very detrimental for the entire Iboga community if we didn't say that your approach is hazardous. Be very careful and always remember you are not alone. Many people are held in the balance.
Death is not going to be my intention at all! I do think I worded it correctly when I said that I meant I think I am going to find it easier to let go and go with the flood because of the way I'm feeling about myself and my life. My intention for the iboga is to deal with my negative emotions and to heal my shame and gain forgiveness to certain people from my past particularly the ones that have caused me this pain. I really need to go back and deal with a lot of childhood pains and fears
That is very good to hear! Put as much intention toward that goal as possible and it should help... Are you on any meds?
Any suggestions on what I can do before I am given the medicine ... Do I state my intention in my head, do I pray? No not on meds they don't help for my condition at all
Stating your intention in your head is good. It may be all you need, if you can keep it strong in the forefront of your brain. Iboga is so strong and powerful, food of the gods, that it's going to take you where you need to go. For example, I have flooded 4 times. On my last flood, I had a spiritual connection.....I had no idea that deep down, I had a spiritual crisis going on. I had no idea how my soul was disconnected due to this lack of perception. I feel a comfort now that goes beyond Noribogaine. Now, without opiates and post flood #4, I can see clearly that universe is much greater than me, but I can be as big as I want to be. Get ready to "Turn on, Meet God, and Get Straight!!" Surrender yourself missjess to the power of the sacrament. As Daniel Pinchbeck's friend puts so elegantly, “ibogaine is God's way of saying: 'You're mine, bitch!'” You are going to do great! Keep connecting with your Iboga family! You have support here, good people who care.
humbleaspen, it sounds as if your intention is already well formed and despite the first email giving the wrong impression about your reasons for doing Iboga, I believe that you will gain much. Surrender to any negative thoughts, do not hide from anything that the Iboga shows you, and you will ride to better days. Peace
Thanks guys!! Means so much I am ready to do this, I also may do a mini flood before My big one just to be even more cleaner for it so it can work straight on my mind
This is not my recommendation missjess. One proper flood should do the trick. Do micro dosing afterwards instead. I can share a very successful schedule that I have been adhering to. A better bet pre-flood would be to do some exercises to change your thinking, or setting the stage for Iboga to do so. I can recommend certain easy writing exercises that could help with this.....
Ok I will just wait then, I have iboga root bark capsules from iboga world for micro dosing afterward also.
Yeah, maybe a "mini" flood several weeks after the initial one... I did one (sort of accidentally) two weeks after my first head cracking, it was the most profound one though it only lasted an hour or so. It really put everything into perspective for me, much more personal and not chaotic at all... I saw my ancestors and met Iboga... Beautiful. Luck and Love missjess, roxine
I have done a mini flood before on my own with a friend watching me and I didn't meet iboga I just seen random images and I saw a couple of 3D images of myself nothing special lol I dare say I have not met the iboga spirit yet !!
Every time seems to be different for everybody, I read in a book that "initiates" (also speaking of those detoxing) always meet the spirit and that just isn't true. Sometimes they are chaotic jumbles that seem to make very little sense, but I think some "get it" later and those types of visions can be very therapeutic even if we don't think so at the time. I hope you do meet him/it. It was amazing. If you don't do not fret, you should still gain something profound even if it isn't clear at first. Keep us posted Luck and Love, roxine
Ok well my sole purpose is hard therapy
Let the plant boost your awareness cause that's what it's doing. It will show you elements of it's origin: Africa. Every time I have flooded, I feel the drumming noise of an African tribe. It may just seem like a frequency or buzzing to some, but I swear thinking back on it, it's like the game/movie Jumanji and how the drumming just encompasses you. I also smell Iboga or Africa from every pour of my body after I have ingested a flood dose. The smell is very identifiable. It is earthy + the toxins that are leaving my body I think. So you see, there are more ways to experience Africa on a flood than just meeting Mr. Iboga. However, meeting him can have profound effects on your mind..... ......I still see him during Mantra. I haven't posted on my thread on Mantra in awhile, but will when the time is right. I am day 4 no cigs. Day 1-2 during my mantra chanting yoga, the divine entity always watches from above while I remain still in between sessions, and he is still as well, for the most part. He did a little dance of celebration or shimmy as I tuned into my breath and the vibrations that day. I laughed, it was so nice. The spirit will stay with you if you meet him, and if find ways to connect with him post flood (most importantly).
