Heavy Kratom Abuse and My 4th Flood

Thanks so much to all that replied to earlier posts.  I am happy to be a part of this community.  I am in rough shape still, so forgive the shortness of my post.  It has been an interesting experience since my flood which began at 3am on Tuesday.....no opiates since Monday evening.  So, I suppose I am 2.5 days clean.  Of the 4 floods total, all this year, this one was about half the dose ( .6-.8 ) of my others. Before, I took somewhere between 1.2-1.5 grams of HCL (98% pure), which I was told by my doc that that was a heroic dose.  I knew my stomach was messed up even more so from the Kratom use, so I stair cased the doses every 45 mins, instead of every hour.  I purged after 2, and could not fathom taking more.  This led to Tue being the worst day of my life.  I considered going to the hospital, due to the agonizing pain, trouble breathing, and violent chills, but my gf took good care of me.  I slept from 8:30pm to 11:30pm, woke up, had some caffeine, felt about 85% better (amazingly!!!), even did 30 mins of light yoga!!!!  Since around noon yesterday I started struggling again.  2-3 baths a day, Xanax, caffeine, lots of water, Tylenol and Aleve, protein shakes and fruit, and keeping the thermostat at 77 F has been my tools most utilized.  Last night got so bad, I took an insanely hot bath, and my body temp rose to over 100 for  awhile after that.  My theory is that the baths, massage from my gf, moving around a bit with the help of caffeine all speed up the rate of detox, which is why I am feeling this so intensely.  Between the ganja edibles, melatonin, benzodiazepines and baths, I was able to get about 4 hours of restful sleep last night, followed by another 6 hours of not at all restful sleep.  I have had a few cups of coffee this AM and still can't really move.  The brain zaps/body zaps became most intense today, along with the fatigue/pain are my major complaints.  My gf was nervous to leave me today for work, I insisted she go.  Today, I have been reading people's posts, pondering my experience, and embracing all the love my gf has given me.  My spirits remain high, which I can only attribute to the Ibogaine flood combined with my current state of being/thinking/perception.  Anyone who has abused opiates for awhile knows that there is NO smiling or high spirits (especially 2.5 days after quitting WITHOUT tapering) when coming off the drugs without the help of Iboga.  Any feedback would be huge, like do I take boosters?  Right now, the evenings seem to be the most painful.  I think the caffeine really helps with pain in the mornings.  I will share more when I can.....ask me any questions.  One cool thing, I finally understood what my doc friend told me when he said, "It works best when you have visions."  I think he meant it works best when you can make sense of your visions and they have meaning to you.  The last 3 floods, my visual experience seemed completely unorganized, chaotic, and meaningless.  This time, #4, my visions were like a well-connected experience that I interacted with.  I wish I could draw a picture to post.  Bottom line, I was given the opportunity to travel between worlds/dimensions/ times through something like one of those tubing systems that they have at the drive through at banks.  I was transported to space at one point, where I saw a stick-like figure that I was certain was divine.  Somehow, I was allowed to communicate with this being.  Sending me through these different times, places, scenes.....I was instructed (non verbally) to put a little thumbs up sign at the base of the tubing if everything seemed okay in the scene.  I also had the ability to put a reflective mirror of sorts in the base of the tubing to look up at the "creator" and let him give me a thumbs up that everything was okay.  The overall meaning I took from traveling through all these scenes (which I cannot remember them all because there were so many), was that there is a higher being, other dimensions exist without a doubt, but most importantly, that life is too beautiful and way too short to be bogged down by something like opiates, they will numb the fuck out of life!    Everything eventually becomes balanced.  You cannot know joy without sorrow.  Make the most of your experiences and relationships, and that in itself is divine.      Looking forward to ya'll's feedback.

What are people's thoughts on Loperimide (Immodium) for opiate detox?  I have no interest in taking it now, unless my withdrawals get SUPER bad again and it's recommended by folks here (I am doing okay now).  I really have no interest in taking it due to the fact that it's just another opioid, plus 100 pills is scary, plus Ibogaine is still inside of me.  I cannot imagine the constipation.

Excuse my skimming.  I have troubles reading full posts of length.  But anyways... Sure sounds like you should, if ever anyone should.  Which IMO they always should, but you especially seem like it would be the needed icing on the cake.  Protocols as to when are not concrete.  My set program would/could certainly vary from others.  But in answer to the question: Yes.

Just to update:  It's 5:20pm here in Denver, 2 days since my flood, and by this point in the day I would expect to be in an uncomfortable amount of pain, with out of control body temperature regulation (based on the last 2 days).  I am experiencing virtually no pain, amazingly!  My body temp is still off, but I am getting warmer each day.  Remaining muy positivo......

Reminds me of my last flood.  An African Man (extremely joyful and humble) was pointing up to stars and planets and showing me how to get nourishment out of them.  He was not using words but rather using hand symbols.  At one point it was so striking that I laughed, to which he got offended and that was the end of that particular vision.

Thanks Kambo.  I have about .5 mg of HCL and .3 - .4 of TA.  I have yet to take anything, and still would like some more feedback from others before deciding..... I am all for reaching homeostasis as quickly as possible.  So, if the magic is in the booster protocol post flood, I am all for it.  I feel that coming back to life day by day, the first few days after a flood, really echoes and crystallizes the significance of staying true to your intentions and putting into practice what you have learned.  For example, after Tuesday's intensity, I certainly cannot begin to contemplate the addict mind ever actually winning again when it comes to any opiate.  That is probably coupled with what I learned in my flood and the motivating shame around opiate and nicotine use, 4 floods total this year, and not working since April.....

Hey earnestdeer - congrats on your flood. I've seen KP post that he recommends a booster one week after a flood. This thread might help: http://Ibogaine.club/index.php?topic=1728.msg14545#msg14545 take care!

I would stay away from Loperimide if I were you, take a booster dose or edibles if you are feeling crappy. I used root bark for boosters in the past & used anywhere from 1-5g on days I took it. I'd prob split the HCL up as much as possible to make it last.  In my experience caffeine causes more harm than good when coming off opiates, the amounts it takes to feel any energy at all will just make you feel crappy & have anxiety, especially after a flood. I stop drinking caffeine completely after a flood, its up to you though.  Stay away from alcohol too, it most definitely interferes with Iboga.  Sounds like you're doing pretty good though, I'd be thrilled to be getting any sleep within the first week or 2!  I just came off 4 months of opiate use last month(last 2 1/2 was heroin) & I didn't get ANY sleep for 7-10 days, & after that only an hour or so a night for another week.  The evenings are definitely rough for a while but it gets better. The best thing about using Iboga for coming off opiates is the mental support & depression relief it provides, feeling depressed on top of feeling crappy physically is what makes many people break down & use.  I didn't have extra Iboga for boosters this time so I've been using caapi powder for a mental boost & its been amazing. Sounds like a great experience you had during your flood too, I've never been able to go that deep, must be pretty special to see/experience.

ENTHEO:  Thank you so much for the thread and the tip, I will check it today!  I love the title! EVOLUTION:  I am definitely staying away from the Immodium, no need for it at all.  I will take your advice and make the HCL last, as well as read up on all the booster protocols.  My theory, from my experience, is that the body can only handle so much in a given day without restful restorative sleep.  In addition to that, the fatigue that comes from flooding and opiate detox will be shortened in half with light exercise, movement, slowly pushing your body a little more each day/and knowing when not to of course.  I know I am taking the drug route to assist in this process, but I am okay with that......they are NOT opiates most importantly.  The caffeine doesn't bother me at all, in fact, it gives me just the right amount of kick to get in that yoga session/walk around the block, etc.  Getting a little more done each day, even with the help of caffeine, is really good for my mind as well.  It is a behavior pattern shift that is major in my next phase of maturing and being proud of myself......maintaining a healthy cognitive harmony! I am taking higher than normal doses of melatonin at night, but it's still safe according to my research.  I slept from 11pm-5AM this morning......3 days since my flood!!!  I cannot imagine not sleeping for that long, as you illustrated.    I think I would go delirious and probably start hallucinating again You are absolutely right about the mental aspect being more powerful than the physical.  That has always been my gauge as to whether or not the Iboga did it's job.  Last night I felt minor pain and chills, nothing in comparison to the nights before, but I still had my afterglow!  It is a strange to feel pain and the inner chill, but still feel utter gratitude for being alive in a universe that is eternally abundant.  Happythankyoumoreplease!! Today, I feel great!  I wasn't not sure if I'd make it to my NYE dinner on Monday, but at this rate I'll be more than fine.  I won't get trashed Evolution, but is it unsafe to have 2-3 drinks?

Dangerous in the fact that your noribogaine levels will drop.  For me at least the one time I even had a couple sips of beer after a flood I could feel the post bliss benefits of noribogaine dropping as clear as day. I always make it known that drinking alcohol after Iboga is not a productive decision.  Strongly recommend not taking the risk of messing with your bliss potential and growth of well being that noribogaine is proliferating... ^NORIBOGAINE^ The greatest substance on earth^ If it could be bottled I would drink it like water.  As per specific protocols, it's rather unnecessary considering I am not working with you directly.  Some generalities, I always boost 1 week afterwords and no sooner.  After 2 weeks I do micro dosing at very small levels(500mg-1g for 1 week at a time).  After 1-2 months another boost.  Then a long break.  This is to get the noribogaine rolling and flowing.  Trying to figure out more effective techniques for making noribogaine punctual and long terms in small doses, but nothing is proven yet and many experiments need to be conducted before publishing.  For now it is all theoretical.  Soon will be known about the possibilites, but for now the above method is how I personally get it flowing strong. And DON'T DRINK, eat healthy, ext.  Guard your angelic rebirth like a treasure.  Drama always tries to interfere with me after a flood, or I invite it, who knows.  Relationships are crucial.  Your GF sounds rooted and nice, which makes all the difference.  A wild and difficult significant other can make the post flood experience very trying which is either a blessing in disguise or a grand f-up in teaching.  Seen it happen too much though not to mention it.

A special thanks to Kambo and lala for all your support.  I wonder how the noribogaine HCL works.....that's really intriguing..... I tuned into the feeling a bit more yesterday after reading this quote.  If anyone has done pure mdma, they may be able to understand the feeling I am about to describe.  Pure mdma feels clean, INSANELY good, but so good that you know it cannot be natural, that it is a hard drug.  Anyway, I felt this bliss yesterday, noribogaine, and it reminded me of a "natural mdma."  Now this was of course a much less intense version of the feeling, but that's what made it feel natural.  I hope this makes sense to someone.  I was in some pain yesterday, fatigued and chilled, but I was rocking out some good tunes, dancing all over the house like no one was watching, I mean a true celebration of life.  So, knowing what I know now, I am going to do everything possible to cultivate this noribogaine in the brain.  Not drinking is not a challenge for me, never been a big drinker.  I totally understand how drama can take away from it too now.  My gf and I had a slight miscommunication last night (and she was moody) and I went into this stupid dark place.  Fuck that shit.  Peace, love and harmony especially until I can truly say I am no longer detoxing.  She gets it, and she's awesome. I still have plenty of reading, but plan on micro dosing sooner than later.  NORIBOGAINE in my brain, you are my best friend right now!  I also prefer fungi in the woods and not in public.  We are doing NYE at our best couple friend's house.  They will all be drunk for sure, but I think I feel safe eating a bit of fungi after dinner and seeing what happens.  I just hope it has just as much therapeutic effect as it does toxic.  Quick update to all, especially those who question if Ibogaine works for Kratom:  Ibogaine is working in the sense that it has created noribogaine in my brain which is easing the detox from Kratom, making it tolerable.    I have detoxed from Vicodin and Kratom a few times with Ibogaine, and without, and in the end I believe Kratom is worse.  There is something about it that it gets inside you on a deeper more profound level, echh echh.  Fuck that stupid plant.  Just thinking about it gives me a sour taste in my mouth.  Slept from 11pm to 7am this morning    It took me two hours to start feeling awake due to the lateness of the tasty edible I ate last night, but I am starting to get going now as I type.  It's going to be a beautiful day (in my brain, outside is grey and cold).

Unrelated to the thread but related with my wish for Noribogaine... https://biochem.thc-pharm.de/product_info.php?products_id=210 I guess it's already being manufactured.

Blue Tiger-  I did my first flood on Dec.26th last year, I did not think I would be able to go out on NYE and have a good time, but I did!  I ate just a little bit of fungi and I danced ALL Night long!  It was exactly what I needed and the dancing was good too,  I was around many drunk people and had no desire to drink at all and had one of the best nights of my life!  I think others here would recommend them as well for a boost.

Public is not always the best setting for fungi.  For me I have to be in the woods.  Just putting that out there.  Set and setting the one thing Timothy Leary seemed to get right.

They are fun in the woods too, but I prefer them to alcohol when seeing live music anyway, but I didn't think I would get out there and dance like that without alcohol especially when I had been feeling so weak and tired 5 days after my heavy flood and no opiates for the first time in years!  Plan on doing a repeat this year, the band I saw is pretty tribal, so it felt right and good. To each his own I suppose.
