Iboga flood for spiritual crisis help plz
I feel like we had a case a couple years ago where a dissociation case was not helped but harmed with Iboga. Did you tell us this in the beginning? First time I've heard of this. Anyways a question as well... How will you help Iboga? It is endangered in it's native habitat by the way.
When I say dissociation I mean I am shut down emotionally and detached from myself and from people, I don't get panic attacks etc How can I help iboga, how can I respect the plant and ask from it what I need for it to do to move me forward I need it to heal my toxic shame I am in torture with myself
Ok. I guess it seems a little old hearing, "how is Iboga gonna save me". Imagine asking God, "You better help me NOW!". Not gonna do much. SO what are you going to do for Iboga/God (my dogmatic views on the analogy are noted)? You didn't answer the question but instead said again how you wanted Iboga to help you... What caused these issues? Piece by piece. Little by little, every issue needs sorted out. In general Iboga can sort through a lot but certainly not every last one of them.
The best thing you can do to help during the experience, as far as I know, if keeping your eyes closed and wait, motionless. By doing this you will let the medicine do its work without interfering. It will also help having your awareness turn inside. Things you should NOT do is watching t.v., doing computer or similar distracting things during the effects of the drug. To maximize healing and minizing risks of aggravating your condition, you should be ready to be mostly motionless for most of the session and simply letting the medicine do its work. If it happens that at some point you are freaking out, just fucking lay still, motionless, and let the medicine do what it wants to do. By doing this you will rationalize and calm yourself. Of course, having a sitter helps when freaking out. I hope you will give us feedback about your experience!
Thank you distrust I will do exactly that !!
I have, for lack of a more poignant term, watched my life unravel over the last decade or so. I won't condescend to compare pain, but I will say that l have many of the same problems. Ive come to realize that my every action is obstructed by the shame anger and regret if my past. There is not a straight line between my intentions and the actions I take. I am only able to function if inspiration and intention are translated directly into action, whatever that may be. Instead, my head is crowded at all times with an infinitude of thoughts, memories and emotions, all dragged around at random by my mood. I mention all of this so that I might elucidate on my flood plan, which may otherwise seem unclear. Anyway, what I am hoping for is to have all the leaves raked into tidy piles, so that they ight be disposed of. I will spend the day preceding the flood stilling my mind. I suggest watching Alan Watts hosting a tv show from 1959. The episode Still the Mind. It'svery helpful and interesting.
silverwren97 I am sorry to hear that you are suffering with a similar pain to myself ... Do you have any kind of support network? .... I will deffiantely be preparing myself for this flood this is it for me I have been praying almost daily, eating well and on the last week up until my flood I will begin meditation and eating only vegetable, fruits and soups lots of water. It is not nice to live in the past and not be present in ur own body and taking on new experiences, to not be able to feel joy and to feel cut off from ur own soul I could t think of anything worse not to mention the lack of trust for other ppl and my self esteem shrivelled to threads When do u plan to flood?
