Jesus man that's a huge habit...I do not think pods or seeds would be of much avail here. For one thing they are both tricky to dose, especially the seeds... Hmmm...certainly cut back to the absolute lowest amount possible - in this specific instance I may even recommend methadone for a few days, then stop 24 hrs before treatment. That's just a lot of smack. If he can have the guy cut his doses in half and just hang tight. Valium certainly helps but can be dangerous with opiates especially heroin. Hi VaVar, It says in the PDR that Imodium helps relieve withdrawal symptoms in monkeys.  It is GREAT for diarrhea but you got to take a lot to lessen withdrawal.  How much is a lot I can not say.  I have read of people taking maybe 20 or so a day, maybe more.  I have taken maybe 10 or 15 myself in a 24 hour period.  Don't have him take a handful for he is going to suffer, no doubt about it.  I would go with Cal and take Methadone but from what I understand they will not dose you on the first day and when they do they are not going to give you enough to get straight.  Often addicts will go to the clinic and say they are using more than they really are hoping to get that last buzz.  They tell you it takes three days to get it all in your system.  They really do not care about pain and suffering.  That has been my experience, kinda like addicts are trash.  Right off the bat they figure you a lying, stealing addict.  But they'll take ya if ya got the money. Maybe go to the hospital and say you hurt your back or something unless you have tracks and he most likely does they might give you Ibuprofen 800mg. If there was one OTC I would choose Imodium.  I wish I could help you more but withdrawal is a very hard and painful and last so long, damn. Wish you and patient the best,   - JIM

H is available readily? Rav, bark will cut down habit likety split. But will linger in system making flood something to be monitored closely. I have seen someone go from 3g to 1.5g with bark, low dose and over a couple weeks. Still, bark will bring down habit in a short time. If you just made contact, see if he can't go another week coming down in dose. Bark will help. On a side note, I've learned to never rush a session.

Agree Tia..... rushing a session never seems to work out ... for both parties. Question.... are you say that RB is not good before a tx? Vavar... a lot depends on the h..  Is it Tar?, weak H.  Just seems and had been my experience that after time away from H the tolerance drops pretty quick..  Also can climb quickly.  Is this guy on constant NOD?  I dont know...but something just dosnt feel right To share my exp. with going to Meth for short time..2-3weeks.. then waiting a few days tx goes well. immodium/loperamide in itself will only help with the intestinal issues that accompany the withdrawal syndrome. you would need to make the citrate ester to get something centrally active, lol. j/k
