micro dose...so far so good!
Thanks for the update Kbud! Don't beat yourself up about the gum.....keep celebrating the wins. I think you are being smart to recognize the power of sleep. We withdraw the most at night for a reason, and that sleep is like Iboga in the sense that it resets!!! Stay in contact. You are doing great!!
Thanks...will do!
well about 630pm knew that I would have a tough time sleeping anyway, as I was feeling a bit of withdrawal from the kratom, It's been about 23 hrs off kratom. I decided to do the other 300mg cap to get through the night better. will check back in let everyone know how that went!
day 2 , no problem getting through the night , slept well and had a very strange dream. I'll be taking 300mg this morning and will go from there. appears to be a good tool to aid in kratom withdrawals. I think it will also help me with the nicotine thing. will report back later. have a great day!
Excellent Kbud! This is great to hear! We talked about how a micro-dose (i.e. 300mgs of RB) is very small--homeopathic, but remember it is accumulating. Just be prepared for what may come if you continue to stack for several days.
my middle name is prepared !
so... I took a second 300mg at noon. I'm fine without kratom at this point. I'm starting to notice the traffic outside is seemingly louder. I've taken to just putting the rb in yogurt. (didn't feel like getting caps.) I will do one more today around 5 15gr so far...2nd day. the nicotine thing persist
so... 600mg at 5. that will be it for today! will check in if anything comes up!
Ok 3d day... I can see this may get a bit redundant as a daily journal. I will continue to micro dose and will report back after the week.
RB in yogurt! Wooohooo! Sounds like a great day to me! Your reports are invaluable to others down the line as Iboga treatment reports for Kratom addiction are scarce. You write as much as your heart desires!
thanks BT. I'm glad to know your checking in... I'm keeping a detailed journal as to amounts and insights (not that I've had any ) although I will just keep doing what I'm doing and fill everyone in on the results. definitely do not have need for kratom.
OK day 4, I can't take the taste of my nicotine gum. It's beginning to taste foul to me. pretty interesting. definitely could not smoke. 3gr yesterday throughout the day
4th day. I'm winding down. I have company coming tomorrow, so thought it would be better to start decreasing. 300mg this morning 300mg tonight, and just 300 tomorrow morning will be it. I'll wait a week and do it again. I'll have to look around and see what the protocol is for that. I needed to take a teaspoon of stem/vein kratom and a magnesium to help me sleep last nite, as the rls was getting to me. but otherwise I'm really happy with my progress......such a journey. ( I had a lot of streamers last night.) I'm looking forward to a flood, although want to be clean going into it for some reason. I'm hoping to rid myself of nicotine with a flood....baby steps!
You are conquering this Kbud! Good for you! I understand wanting to go into a flood clean. Iboga certainly can penetrate the 'infinite possibility' center of the mind. Your relationship with the plant seems to be blossoming. It's wonderful to see your spirit come alive! If there is one piece of advise I can give you, it's keep doing what you are doing with the ultimate goal in mind. Keep trusting your inner guide when deciding how much to take, and how long to break in between your cycles. You know how 300mgs effects you now....If you do another MDing cycle, it may be similar to this one, maybe shorter, maybe longer. All I am saying is have a plan (like you do), and keep it loose based on ALL of those lovely variables. Mantra for MDing: Skip, reduce, smile, and Breathe
thanks BT. I got that alpha brain stuff. I'll let you know what I think. no craving for kratom. nicotine I know will only have a short hold on me. I'm so glad I found you guys
OK.. well my company came and left. I felt a bit raw or should I say open from the week before. I had been pretty meditative and clean from commercial food, so It felt like a jolt to my system to be talking about money projects ,eating sandwiches and having all this ego rampart around me. I found I was very much in a defensive space, like I was trying to stop the bombardment of ....life I guess. I felt so out of sorts by Sunday with my company I resorted to some kratom to try to deal with folks in a more pleasant way. So that wasn't the best way to end my week. I don't want to fall back into the kratom thing so I took 300mg cap of rb this morning just to be sure I wouldn't dabble. I think it will take a little more than a week to stabilize coming off a kratom habit.
Sorry to hear about Sunday. I'm sure it was just a bump in the road. I was having a little difficulty motivating on Saturday, because I'm so used to using a little kratom bump to get myself moving and out and about. I might have scarfed a couple of kratom capsules IF I HAD ANY. But I didn't, because I went through my apartment with a fine-toothed comb and threw out everything. Have you considered doing the same? But Sunday was a better day for me, I had to take care of a particularly difficult set of chores involving driving to a crowded big box store in an urban area, and I felt fine and pulled it off without being cranky or irritable. I've noticed that I feel much better and get along much better with the RB now that the "dirty maintenence" is over and the RB is the ONLY psychoactive substance in my system.
getting rid of the kratom would be the thing to do. I don't feel any craving for it, although I knew it would pull me out of the head space I was in. I am borderline dysthymic and I'm hoping the ibo will help in that regard. I didn't feel I could use the rb while the company was around, I think I may have fared better if I had. I will consider getting rid of the kratom. I am the type of person that has to have whatever I'm quitting on hand. quit drinking in my 20s worked as a bartender, quit pills always kept 2, quit suboxone always kept a strip. quit cigarettes always kept a pack on hand. I end up getting rid of the things ,but usually after about 6 months with out them. It's like a safety net thing. If I don't keep them accessible I grab for them more. If I have them around I realize It's a choice I am making to get them out of my life. yes... a bump in the road. back on task.
