Potentiating micro-doses with begamottin

Just thought id share some info on potentiating micro-doses with bergamot oil. bergamottin is a  cytochrome P450 inhibitor (an enzyme that degrades ibogain) its pretty much the same as the ol DXM and grapefruit juice trick. with inhibition you can acheive the same mental clarity without the body load of taking a higher dose. I work with T.orientalis leaf, a threshold dose for T.orientalis sits at around 30g to 50g made into tea however you can be left feeling quite heavy and ill from a dose that size (and your barely getting tracers) so the first time i experimented with CP450 inhibition i started at 10g and added a few drops of bergamot essential oil. To my surprise the tracers were profound and although i was having just as much difficulty co-ordinating my limbs the nausea and heavy feeling were absent allowing me to let go and slip into a pleasant lucid dream state.

now there's a find. i have been 'potentiating' micro-dosing with piracetam, but that doesn't involve enzyme inhibition. i've also been wondering how would iboga/ibogaine mix with harmaline or tetrahydroharmine.

Quite a few times I've drank ayahuasca while microdosing iboga. The caapi tea definitely steps up the tracers a bit, but the effects of caapi and iboga are so similar imo its hard to say if it there is any potentiation, or just addition. I think harmalas have a pretty narrow range of enzymes they inhibit, so I really couldn't say if they prevent ibogamine alkaloids from being metabolized. P450 is a huge complex with many different enzymes and most MAOI only target a small fraction of them. Bergamot oil seems like a nice tactic, thanks for sharing that. How much oil do you eat?

Just 1-2mls its pretty potent stuff probably another thing worth mentioning is when combined with an opiate your breathing can become a bit laboured ive never been addicted to opiates but ive made the fatal mistake of dosing while on codiene for a tooth ache it was a little scarey struggeling to breath so it looks like the inhibition covers a greater range not just the K-opoid.

i would just like to add this regarding Harmalas i've noticed alot of people saying they are MAOI's but don't realize harmalas are a sort of sub species of full on MAOI's called RIMAs which if memory serves me stands for Reversible Inhibitor of mono-amine oxidase (sorry for bad spelling) and dont require such strict diet restrictions as a full on MAOI.    the first time i took iboga which was in the form of 10 grams of rootbark i decided later that night to take 250mg of harmine and drank some decanted mimosa tea which i do not recommend to anyone! what followed was what seemed like a 15 hour heart attack (ive since had cardiac tests and no signs of an attack) along with the feeling of south america and africa at war with one another in my brain, i recall saying to my sitter "They either need to nuke each other or sign some kind of damned peace treaty!!" lol. regardless i would never repeat that again.
