Preparing to Launch
Went to my closet, reached up, grabbed the video game case with the small brown envelope hidden beneath the instruction manual. "5 grs Ibogaine TA" in fine black print on the label of the small plastic bag tucked within the envelope. Extracted the bag of extract from its home. Fetched a bowl from the kitchen. Scale removed from drawer in bedroom. 15 empty gelatin capsules discovered after some rummaging on the floor of the closet. Sat down at desk. Bag opened and tipped, yellow brown powder spilled into bowl. Long half of capsule dragged along the bottom of the bowl, quickly filling to the brim with the medicine. Other end snapped neatly onto the 11 capsules filled in this manner. Capsules weigh ~450-500 mg. Last one was less than half full. Bwiti music and rain forest sounds on iPod. Tomorrow afternoon the journey begins. I am very excited.
