Building a real aftercare plan for the first 90 days
I'm a 42 year old guy from Ontario with a long history of opioid addiction. I've been researching ibogaine treatment seriously for the past few months and I'm getting closer to making a decision. But one thing that keeps coming up for me is what happens after. The treatment itself is only a few days, and then you're back in your regular life with all the same triggers and stressors.
I keep reading that aftercare is where people either make it or don't, but the specifics seem vague. What does a realistic 90 day plan actually look like? I'm talking about the practical stuff. Therapy frequency, support group involvement, lifestyle changes, maybe supplements or other protocols. I have a decent support system at home but I want to go in with a solid plan rather than figuring it out on the fly.
For those of you who went through treatment for opioid addiction specifically, what did your first three months look like? What do you wish you had planned for that you didn't?

Hey Marcus. There is a super helpful article about ibogaine aftercare here https://ibogaine.club/blog/ibogaine-afterglow-period

Thanks for sharing that, I will check it out. The afterglow period is something I have been reading about but I am not totally clear on how long it typically lasts or how to make the most of it.
