Common drugs that prolong QT interval

Ibogaine research has suggested that one of the possible side effects of the medicine is a prolonged QT interval. Clinics and providers look for this anomaly when they review a prospect's EKG. Here's a couple references which provide some background on what prolonged QT means, and also contains a list (not complete) of some common drugs known to produce this effect: http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/157826-overview http://drugs.emedtv.com/medicine/qt-prolonging-medications.html Those considering treatment with iboga/ibogaine would do well to peruse the list and dig around to see if they are on any of these meds - or have been in the recent past.  Every little bit counts - and these are just a few ways we can mitigate risks and keep ibogaine treatment as safe as possible.
