ebando

hello, i was wondering if ebando with tatayo could help me. i am suffering tremendously because of substance abuse. i don't know anything about "shamans", but i was born a yogi, from a family of yogis. i used to practice deep forms of esoteric yoga when i was a child, but then got lured into taking substances at a young age. i wish to seek healing, purification, and spiritual enlightenment. Do you think ebando could help me?

As you know your condition is mental in the form of schizophrenia and a severe form at that.  Iboga could actually prove harmful in your case, as you should already know.  A history of your postings from the Ayahuasca forum and your insulting pm's would tell me first hand that the last thing you should do is take Iboga.  I would personally warn Tatayo if you are not being forthright with the severity of your mental condition.  For the safety of Iboga please don't take that kind of risk.

ok, thank you kambo, but the thing is that i NEED to get relief and healing and spiritual realization. i was told that i could be helped. I do not have schizophrenia, i do not see visions, nor do i hear voices, or think that anyone is out to get me. i am suffering from serious physical and spiritual ailments. my physical has been destroyed because of substances, and since physical is a manifestation of the spiritual body, one can conclude that my spiritual body is suffering immensely =. I DO NOT WANT TO STAY LIKE THIS. you guys take iboga and find healing. Why would you shun me? because you THINK I have some form of mental illness? well you're right. My mental illness is that i cannot stand self-righteous mystics who think they are so great because they've had a few plant-induced experiences and realizations. i have the right to spiritual healing just like anyone else does, kambo. You cannot deny me this simple and basic right of human nature.

Anyone can read your history on the Ayahuasca forum or even here.  What you said in that last post is not representative of your past.  On the Ayahuasca forum the administration there made it clear your history (that you admitted to in relationship to schizophrenia) and they strongly opposed your use of entheogens as being potentially more harmful.  I don't think a roll of the dice is what any responsible individual should advise.  If you remember I spent countless hours on the phone with you in the past and you without a doubt were hearing voices in your head and thought people were out to get you, several times you thought you were other people and I had to convince you were not them.  Please don't play games and tug at the heart strings of naive people that don't know your history.  I will gladly cut and past the posts from the Ayahuasca forum that clearly document your mental condition, if you insist on not being forthright here.

kambo, i really appreciate your input. Don't think that i do not. but the fact is, i am in a horrible state and i do not wish to stay here. i was told that a serious ceremony with true shamans could help me. i do not think that ANYone should stay miserable, sick, and cut off from Spirit just because they abused substances. as far as i can tell, most everyone here has abused substances, and are taking iboga to heal from this. so why should I be neglected? it is not fair in the least bit. with all due respect, you do not know me or anything about me. So you labeling me as "schizophrenic" or whatnot holds no weight. the aya forums are another place where egotistical people rant about their experiences with "Mother Aya." if you ask me, this mother aya nonsense is a joke. i am seeking healing. I should not be shunned while thousands of other people find healing and spiritual enlightenment. because you think that i am schizophrenic, i should not be allowed to participate in a healing ceremony? i do value your input, but at the same time, I know in my deepest heart that I too have a RIGHT to find healing and oneness, and have my biological clock reset to the universal standard.

I'll leave it to others to make their decisions on advising you, hopefully it will be informed.  I don't and haven't had the capacity to offer much on your behalf other than caution.

amberfield, no one is trying to deny you healing, the issue here is whether or not iboga is the correct vehicle to bring about healing for you. You started this thread with very little info on your situation. From reading some of your previous posts, there is discussion about you possibly having schizophrenia (which you are denying) and also being bi-polar. What about the statements you have made on the aya forum? Instead of addressing what you have stated about your mental health there, you attack the forum - that is a huge red flag to me - it looks like you are hiding something and diverting attention away from yourself by criticizing the aya forum. When you say mother aya is a joke , that is red flag #2 - by your own admission, you drank alcohol before hand - if you don't have any respect for the plant spirits, how can they help you? Unless you are 100% honest with and about yourself, no one is going to be able to help you. Just do a search for mental on this forum and you will see the problems people with various mental issues have had with iboga. Playing games with plant medicines is a very dangerous road to go down.

thanks kambo, and entheo-newbie. thank you for replying, i appreciate it. i should reword what i meant, sorry about that. i don't think ayahuasca is a joke, not at ALL. What i meant was that i think how some people view ayahuasca is kind of ridiculous. maybe this is not the right place for me. But i was told by people that understand my situation that the plant medicines can indeed help me. i do not want to stay the way i am, i want to change, and heal, and grow, and be one with everything again like i used to be. i want to be free again, the way i was when i was very young. I would have stayed free and reached my highest potential if it was not for the substances. i DO like ayahuasca and feel great reverence for this plant medicine, as i have felt and received divine guidance from Her. but the reason i am posting here is because i was told that iboga can do a lot more than ayahuasca can for a human being, in a much shorter time. i do not know how true this is, but i would love to investigate it further. thanks newbie for your compassion.

and who told you this?  A general description of their experience with no personal information if you are able to answer the question.

well kambo, this self-proclaimed iboga shaman said something like what can be done with 20 or so powerful ayahuasca sessions can be done in just one iboga session. this person operates an iboga clinic somewhere in central america i believe.

Moughenda of Iboga House has never drank Ayahuasca, so what he says has no validity.  Remember over a year ago you had told me once you told Moughenda of your schizophrenia he decided to raise the price considerably.  Point blank their buddy, anyone that would treat you is irresponsible unless they are deeply educated on mental illnesses and how alkaloids and compounds interact.
