Introducing...
Hello all... Im a 36 year old male from the west coast with a passion and curiosity for the subject at hand. I am also struggling with my own inability to stay sober for any considerable length of time. Having had 8 years sobriety in the past, I cant get more than 90 days sober before I find myself using again. I'm becoming hopeless and and fearful that I may not recover and/or get back to the life I once had. I would love to hear more about people's experiences with iboga and how and if it has helped them with their own drug addiction and recovery.
Today I have to admit I'm lost... I'm sad and I need guidance. I have recovery resources here in the community and will end up reaching out to them. I am interested in trying something different when I detox this time and I have been researching local treatment centers in Mexico that offer holistic alternatives. The prices are steep and that concerns me. I'd like to find out more about programs, centers that people here are familiar with and maybe someone could possibly steer me in the right direction.
I look forward to getting to know some of you, listening and learning more.
