is there any tolerance to noribogaine afterglow with frequent flood doses?

If after a flood dose one gets an afterglow for 2-4 weeks (presumably from the noribogaine), would taking a flood dose of ibogaine work as a strategy to get that afterglow feeling more regularly, or would tolerance set it? has anybody tried this approach? and is there a good alternative (microdosing)?

I don't think anyone here, or anywhere else,  would recommend taking a flood dose every month to maintain a glow...  I think most would say six months minimum between flood doses, and still you probably wouldn't want to take a flood dose more than a few times in your lifetime, this isn't a recreational drug like mushrooms or DMT even.  Ibogaine is serious medicine.   Microdosing could prolong the glow, even in small amounts you wouldn't want to do it every day.  There are some threads here about microdosing, I would look at some of those.  roxine

in africa there is usually only one initiation. regarding the daily microdose is very variable according by people. you should not take too long regularly because the doses accumulate. after a while it becomes hard to manage. Iboga is not a toy, it brings out the emotional blockages and knots and tears illusions. it is a tool that allows you to discover itself to better shine. it should not be a crutch.

Yes, it seems the deeper question here is 'how to stay happy/satisfied'? Sure we all love an afterglow, this is a grace period allowed us in order to have the energy and mindset to initiate whatever plans we (should have) had in mind pre-flood...IMO THE single most common mistake ibo users run in to. Especially addicts. When the sense of well being 'leaves' us it is easy to fall back into fear and so undo all the work it took to get us to where we are, be wary of this. Please consider it deeply because I have only come to really appreciate the intricacies of this dynamic after many hard knocks. The only other safe options are boosts or microdose - of those two - I would advise the latter. By definition you won't 'feel' or acutely notice anything from your first day or so MD, it is cumulative and subtle by design. Best, Cal

Yes. Limit the use of Iboga.  He is sacred and should a tolerance build it could disallow continued learning and help from the Teacher.  However, there are many paths to take in order to maintain a glow.  Before ever meeting Iboga I had realized the best "feel good every day" medicine is exercise and nutrition.  There are also chemicals that wouldn't hurt to cut out of a diet or add to one, such as caffiene or noopept, respectively.  Good Luck.  And remember, the true glow comes from within.
