Legion
day by day, through many years
by foolishness, by wisdom
I've grown a massive army to
defend my inner kingdom
I command a phalynx form
"Protect the visceral center!"
beyond the castle's beating walls
no foriegner may enter
for I am king and I alone
wield power to create
or conscript from experience
each warrior elite
so let them come, who dare to try
and step within my region
there's room beside
those who've died
fodder for my legion

Good stuff bro....somewhat darker than your normal prose... There's one or two others of yours I'd see up here if you will...you know the one I favor most
