Nobu, you are the very last person I would have ever expected to call iboga a placebo.    In the book Iboga The Visionary Root of African Shamanism, Agnes Paicheler relates that Bwitists seek use ever decreasing amounts of iboga to "come to visions through concentration"  --  sort of a reverse-tolerance effect. To be able to receive all the benefits of the sacrament without having to ingest any certainly seems to be a worthy goal, don't you think?     ~et

Interesting Nobunoni, I understand what you mean now by the 1 gram dose.

I've seen some people have effects on less than one gram of root. It's an introduction to Iboga. Of course these effects are not addiction interrupting, but do include increased awareness of synchronicity, vivid and powerful dreams, and introspection. I support microdosing completely, and think that Iboga utilizes the opportunity to be in the body even at a very small dose. What have you noticed on microdoses, fallout?

Hey Tia, I actually haven't started any doses yet.  The closest to this has been a dip in the root bark with my pinky finger and tasting it for the first time......bitter    Although not too surprising, since I am also a Kava root connoisseur, somewhat. I really wanted to clear out the SNRI(Desvenlafaxine) from my system before I even attempt to ingest any.  I'm currently into about 2 1/2 weeks of tapering off, so about another 2 weeks should be good. Has there been any issues with micro doses along while being on an SSRI/SNRI antidepressant? Thanks
