Seeking experienced sitter/provider (wiling to compensate and travel, I'm in CA)

Hello,

I am seeking support to help me detox from heroin.  I am not cavalier enough to do the treatment on my own and I would prefer a seasoned and exoerienced individual over having a loved one or friend guide me through.  

I was sober from 2001 until 2009 when I went through interferon treatment for hepatitis C.  I began taking pain pills during the treatment to deal with very difficult side effects and ended up abusing them.  I was put on suboxone to finish treatment and it was the worst decision of my life.  I successfully completed the interferon treatment with the virus undetectable, however I lost 8 years of sobriety and have been unable to put together more than 90 days sober in the last 4 years.  I am desperate for help because I'm beginning to lose hope.  The only light of hope that I can see flickers in these forums and on you tube videos and through testimonies I read online all discussing the transformation and rebirth that comes from ibogaine.  

I am fully committed and motivated to this path.  I have spoken with some treatment centers and one individual sitter/provider.  This site has taught me to be weary of big price tags and to research many avenues to find the most appropriate path for treatment.  I am willing to pay whatever it takes, as its hard to put a price on the worth of healing but my budget may hinder me from going to Costa Rica for treatment.  Figuring out what works for us is important and the provider deserves absolute compensation for their time, work, costs etc. 

I am 36 year old male. 6'2" 150lbs.  Currently using heroin .5 gram daily.  I have used for a total of 10 years. I have currently been using for the last 4 years with brief pauses of sobriety of 90 days or less. I have no major medical issues, in relatively good health.  I have detoxed heroin before, with medical assistance and without (cold turkey).  I live in Southern California and I am willing to travel if need be. I am prepared to detox immediately and committed to recover.

Welcome! If you haven't already done so, check the various forums to read other people's experience preparing for a flood to kick an addiction. There are steps you need to take to prepare yourself for this journey. Hopefully more experienced members with chime in with more specific advice.
