storage shelf life for TA?

Hello all,

I have some ibogaworld TA that I took back in late Oct. I still have 1.5 grams left that I immediately put into see-thru gel caps, popped into a small sealed storage container and left in the freezer for the last 7 months. 

I was planning to take it next week. My question is, do you think it has degraded, and also, if it has, will there be any potential harmful by products? 

i.e., should I take it, or throw it out? :-) 

btw, I've heard mixed opinions about how long TA lasts, based on how it is made etc... (12 weeks etc..) HCL, I understand is stable up to 3+ yrs. The lady at ibogaworld told me, if it is  unopened in the package they sent, it will be fine for at least 8 months or more.

Hi lane_drifts, I have used TA older than that that worked just fine, I didn't have it in the freezer. I did notice it took longer for my friend to feel the effects so when I used it again for another friend, I opened the caps and crushed it back into a fine powder because it had hardened up again and it didn't take as long for him and by then it was at least a month older. On my last flood, I took some that was even older and it did seem to take a bit longer even after powdering it again but I also staggered the dose pretty far apart. I also ate a bit of soup before hand which probably slowed it down too. I heard from another provider that if kept from light, heat, air and probably moisture it could last up to 5 years but I have no idea if that is really true or not. The ones I have used have all been homemade vinegar extracts, not sure how IW makes theirs so I can't really comment n the byproducts but I would guess that it is fine to use. hope this helps, roxine

Thank you roxine It does, very much so! Will crush it up. The 3.5g portion TA flood I took back in October had me on my rear end for nearly 36 hours, so I am expecting this to be pretty powerful too (will be fasting as well).
